Here's how a Pennsylvania title transfer works with us. The seller signs and prints their name in Section A on the back of the title, in front of our authorized agent. The buyer completes Section D on the front and signs in our presence too. The buyer and seller don't have to come in at the same time — the seller can sign first, and the buyer can bring the notarized title in separately. If the seller can't appear at all, a power of attorney is the way to do it — ask us and we'll explain what PennDOT needs.
